here at the byub we use one adjective to describe ourselves: professional. in fact, we take our jobs so seriously that it truly cuts to the core when a dissatisfied customer calls. recently, we've stopped carrying create tv and while we aren't completely sure what create tv is we have experienced an overwhelming increase in unhappy callers. since we've never had such unanimous audience feedback i decided to do a little research so that i could better understand why we are now, as one caller so adamantly puts it, "the laughingstock of the valley". according to their website, "create tv's instructional programs provide expert advice on cooking, arts & crafts, gardening, home improvement and travel. tune in and be inspired to taste, grow, imagine, explore and live more fully." if this peppy, "yes you can" attitude hasn't warmed your heart the accompanying picture of bob ross will.
it's your world and you have a right to watch create tv.
understandably, if you, like many byutv viewers, were retired and dependent on create tv you may begin to suffer feelings of abandonment when you find out that when it comes to cooking, arts, crafts, gardening, home improvement, and travel you are all on your own. how are you ever supposed to throw a backyard party without "barbecue university with steven raichlen" to guide the way? and don't even get me started on the loss of "equitrekking". how am i supposed to "experience travel from the saddle" now? by getting on a horse? preposterous! i'm not an acrobat! needless to say, create tv can add me to the list of unhappy patrons because i'm already mourning the loss of quilting and vegan cooking shows i never got to experience. in the words of our angry caller, "love ya. but i'm still mad".
